Leech Bot Privacy Policy

Leech is a multifunctional Discord bot offering moderation, utility, fun, leveling, roleplay, giveaways, analytics, and more. This Privacy Policy explains what data the bot collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user or server owner.

1. Data We Collect

Leech only collects and stores information necessary for its features to function:

• User Data: User IDs (for moderation, AFK, leveling, history, booster roles, etc.), Usernames and nicknames (for moderation logs and history commands), Role connections (for booster role and role management features).
• Server Data: Server IDs (for configuration of welcome messages, antinuke, logging, giveaways, custom DMs, etc.), Channel IDs (for logging, welcome channels, boost messages, giveaways), Role IDs (for moderation, booster roles, giveaways, anti-nuke whitelisting).
• Command Usage Data: AFK reasons, timestamps, and status, Moderation history (kick, ban, mute, timeout, etc.), Leveling progress (XP, messages count), Giveaway entries and winners, Custom configurations (welcome messages, boost messages, roleplay toggle, custom DMs, etc.).

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is only used to provide the bot’s functionality, including but not limited to:

• Running moderation commands (kick, ban, timeout, mute, history tracking)
• Providing utility features (AFK, server info, analytics, polls, giveaways)
• Enabling leveling and XP systems
• Delivering booster role and boost messages
• Sending configured welcome messages and logs
• Handling roleplay/fun commands with GIFs

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

3. Data Storage & Retention

All data is stored in configuration files (JSON) or local databases controlled by the bot owner.

Moderation history, leveling, and giveaways are stored per-server and persist until manually cleared (history remove, giveaway delete, etc.). Temporary data such as AFK status is automatically cleared when the user returns. You may request removal of your data (see Section 6).

4. Third-Party Services

Some commands may fetch data from third-party APIs:

• Fortnite API (item shop)
• Last.fm API (music commands)
• TikTok / YouTube / Instagram APIs (clipping tracker verification & uploads)

These APIs may have their own privacy policies. Leech only retrieves necessary public data and does not share your Discord data with them.

5. Security

Data is only accessible to the bot owner and developers. No sensitive data (such as passwords, emails, or private messages) is collected. Moderation DMs are only sent to users if configured by server admins.

6. Your Rights

As a Discord user, you have the right to:

• Request deletion of your stored data (`history removeall`, `customdm reset`, etc.)
• Request a copy of your stored data (contact the bot owner)
• Opt out of certain features by disabling them (`roleplay off`, `antinuke toggle`, etc.)
